This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Code Mentor (“Code Mentor”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects when you visit or register on this website (the “Platform”), why we collect it, how it is stored and protected, who it is shared with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. We do not collect payment details, government identifiers, or the contents of any account you may be signed into elsewhere. We do not read the email address of any third-party account (such as Google) that your browser is logged into — the only email we hold is the one you type into the form yourself.
Where the law of your country requires consent (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), submitting the form constitutes your consent to the collection described here.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We use your browser’s local and session storage to hold the visitor/session identifiers and your access status so the Platform works correctly. You can clear this at any time through your browser settings; doing so will reset your recognised session.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Platform, and only as needed:

Our infrastructure provider operates a global network, so your data may be processed on servers outside your country of residence, including countries whose data-protection laws differ from your own. Where such transfers occur, they are covered by the safeguards our providers maintain (such as standard contractual clauses).
Visitor and telemetry records are automatically deleted 180 days after they are recorded. Registration details you provide are kept for as long as needed to provide the Platform and, where applicable, until you ask us to delete them. Aggregate, non-identifying counts (such as total visits) may be kept indefinitely.
Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections and stored with our infrastructure provider. Access to the collected records is restricted to authorised operators and is protected by a private passcode; the analytics view is not publicly accessible. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to safeguard your information.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct it if it is inaccurate; request its deletion; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; and (in some regions) receive a copy of your data in a portable format or lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@code-info.in and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
The Platform is intended for learners and educators. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age set by your local law) without appropriate consent from a parent, guardian, or educational institution. If you believe a child has provided data without such consent, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be highlighted on the Platform. Your continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Policy.
